A walk in the park

« See all galleries

Stopping to look closely at the things we see around us every day to appreciate their complexity and beauty. I'm fascinated by autumn and the wide variety of shapes that fall from our trees, but also the sudden decay and collapse as we move into winter. Portrait photographs of the "forest scrapings" I collect in parks and woodland as I go about my day. I am that strange man that wanders around the local park picking up bits of fallen foliage and stuffing them into his backpack.

From Within
Wind on skin
Wind on skin
Stay Close
Will I fly again?
Looking for the sun
Flying Light
Flying Light
Standing here alone
Bound together
Broken thoughts
Lost in space
They won’t take us alive
